Game Design
Clickteam Fusion - Unity HDRP
This is a game that started off as a group project for my MA Game Design course. The game idea was formulated together as a group which started off as brainstorming followed by a paper prototype and then a 2D prototype. We then took this game in our own direction by developing a vertical 3D prototype and finishing it off with a High Fidelity 3D prototype.
The core concept of the game is a puzzle/navigation game where the player needs to use the muzzle flash of their gun to light up their environment and make their way through
For the initial stages of the project, I performed my part in assigning roles to my group members and handing out responsibilities and managing everyone's work. Along with this, I developed the core movement and shooting mechanics, the sonar system in the 2D prototype as well as the title screens.
The above levels from the paper prototype were taken and converted into a 2D prototype in clickteam fusion
After taking the game in our own direction, I implemented this 2D prototype into a basic vertical 3D prototype in Unity 3D
This was then finally converted into a High Fidelity 3D prototype using Unity 3D HDRP
